the bird story

i am bird. i live in california. i am currently renting. i share my space with my husband (anchor), my daughter (mouse) and my unborn child (who is literally “sharing my space”). i have a cat that i’m certain is french, i can just tell, and a fish named jasper. the house rule is that when we see jasper we have to hug. jasper loves this rule. i can tell because he made a bubble nest and hangs out underneath it.

i enjoy writing, reading and photography. i can successfully cook 2 out of 3 things well. this does not stop me from cooking and taking samples to friends and strangers.

i am currently the editor-in-chief for the local college’s creative arts magazine. this means i get to read or view creative things and judge them. . .and my opinion matters the most. i feel quite powerful. this has, of course, gone to my head.
